This page is part of my Year 10 Personal Project, where I’m basically breaking down skincare so it actually makes sense for teens.

If your skin feels tight after washing your face or gets flaky for no reason… your in the right place fs.

It can be annoying, but the fix isn’t using 100 products. It's just using the right ones consistently.

01 - Cleanser (Not HARSH)

First rule: stop using anything that makes your face feel squeaky clean. That “tight” feeling? Not a good sign.

Go for a gentle, hydrating cleanser that doesn’t strip your skin.

02 - Moisturiser

This is where you don’t hold back.

Dry skin NEEDS moisture, so go for something a bit thicker and more hydrating.

This helps your skin feel comfortable instead of dry and irritated all day.

And yes, Im talking BOJ (Beauty of Joeson), Dr Althea etc.

Just any moisturiser as long as it's doing what it says on the Bottle.

Small Tip: Applying moisturiser on slightly damp skin can also help lock in hydration (small tip but it works )

03 - Sunscreen (Ofc)

Even if your skin is dry, you still need protection from the sun.

And if your sunscreen has extra hydrartion. U won fr.

04 - What to avoid

  • Over-washing your face (Duh)

  • Using harsh or drying products (PUT THAT BHA/AHA PRODUCT DOWNN)

  • Ignoring moisturiser (biggest mistake)

  • Hot water (it feels nice but your skin hates it)

05 - Final Say

Dry skin just needs support, not stress.

Keep it simple, stay consistent, and your skin will feel way better. Trust.

Pro Tip: Using a TEENY bit of Hydrolonic Acid is alright. For that xtra hydration yk?? (2-3x a week)
